Wooded hills surround the course of Ticino and its canals in the Varese section of the cycle path that connects Sesto Calende to Pavia, for a total of 120 kilometers of path. The cycle path connecting Sesto Calende to Pavia represents a path of great interest to the enthusiasts of the two wheels. With its 120 kilometers of stretch, crowned along a flat route along the Ticino course, it is possible to plan pleasant hikes suitable for everyone. The itinerary draws the longitudinal backbone of the Ticino Park, the largest river park in Europe, and follows the contours of the river from the province of Varese, where it leaves from Lake Maggiore in the town of Sesto Calende to finally reach Pavia, where it flows into the Po.
